Now thats a Kitchen!!!

So I have figured out that if I go to our house on my lunch break, the door will be open and I can roam free. It’s amazing how much progress that has been made in just one week. Last week the tile was put in and this week the appliances and the lighting have been installed. The kitchen which Tre “designed” looks FABOLOUS!!! I was not sure about the dark cabinets with black countertops…but I let Tre have the final say (I know shocking) and I am beyond pleased with the way it looks.

The walls have been painted too. Although I wanted a darker neutral color I think once the carpet gets in the two tone look will be more apparent. Carpet should be arriving next week and then the cleaning crew will be coming to get the house ready for our walk through.

Home Sweet Home!!!!!

20 Days and counting! In less then 20 days we will take ownership of a new 3 story house. To say we are excited is like saying God is good….such an under statement. We had been looking for about 6 months and for those of you who know me, you know I do not do well with “window shopping”. Thankfully Tre helped in that department since he does not like shopping at all. Nonetheless when we saw this house and we felt a spark, enough of a spark that our poor realtor came over after Tre got off work at 10pm. So we could write our contract.

Long story short, we will be doing our 1st walk through with the builder on December 23rd, and closing on December 30th. So needless to say between packing and Santa for a very excited 2 year old we have TONS to do!

I am ALWAYS up for a challenge!!!!

I have been a lurker in the blog world for quite some time, and probably would have been very happy to just continue to read my favorite blogs. But since Meg and the Bito offered a challenge I had to take her up on it and jump into the world of blogging. Considering I have lots of opinions, and I rant and rave on a regular basis I figure this may work out in my favor after all.
